The scriptures do not appear to tell us what constitutes being overweight. Even the book of Leviticus has no measurement, no height to weight ratio for us to calculate this, or even and maybe especially, to repent of this sin. There I've done it. I've made the connection about being fat and sinning. Now you're really feeling awful, maybe even angry but please, allow me to continue for I wish to settle this silliness and then clarify correctness.

He has put a new song in my mouth — Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the LORD.
I seem to be one of those people who lately, cannot carry a tune in a bucket. Violence to vocal chords has limited my range of expression considerably. Never the less the God of the Bible encourages me to sing!
I am reminded that The Scriptures speak not once of old songs but consistently of new ones. There seems to be a freshness of expression that should be expected with each new generation, even with each new Christian. I wonder if everyday we should all be singing skillfully, new songs that contain shouts of joy?
